NeverTrumpers Are In Big Trouble And The Reason Why Is Disturbing
Over the past couple of weeks, disturbing news has emerged about one of the co-founders of the anti-Trump Lincoln project.
John Weaver, who used to work for RINOs like John McCain and John Kasich, has been inappropriately soliciting young men and abusing his position of authority in politics to pressure men into sexual relationships.
When the story first emerged – meaning, when Ryan Girdusky absolutely DESTROYED Weaver with hard evidence – Weaver denied any wrongdoing and instead used the opportunity to reveal that he was homosexual.
He played the victim himself, telling Axios “To the men I made uncomfortable through my messages that I viewed as consensual mutual conversations at the time: I am truly sorry. They were inappropriate and it was because of my failings that this discomfort was brought on you. The truth is that I’m gay,” he continued. “And that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place.”
Now, fellow Lincoln Project founders are distancing themselves.
Poorly.
George Conway went on MSNBC to deny he even knew Weaver!
But… here’s the problem.
A big, long, damning paper trail exists and it proves that the co-founders not only knew Weaver, but they knew everything.
They drafted op-eds together, raised money together, and they even warned their bro that Girdusky was about to roll out the story revealing his predatory creepiness.
The audience of Morning Joe may be fooled by the Lincoln Project’s half-hearted attempt to distance themselves from John, but we’re not.
