BREAKING: Dr. Fauci Announces A NEW Plan For Masks

Published

Throughout the pandemic, media darling Dr. Fauci has released several contradictory advisories regarding masks.

First, it was “DO NOT wear a mask.”

Then, “everyone should where a mask,” which somehow escalated to “wear two masks.”

And now, he’s saying something new.

In an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, Dr. Fauci suggested masks could become a seasonal requirement in the future – and it’s not only COVID-19 that encourages this advisory.

“We’ve had practically a non-existent flu season this year merely because people were doing the kinds of public health things that were directed predominately against Covid-19,” Fauci said.

Considering that success, he said, “it is conceivable that as we go on a year or two or more from now that during certain seasonal periods when you have respiratory borne viruses like the flu, people might actually elect to wear masks to diminish the likelihood that you’ll spread these respiratory borne diseases.”

Dr. Fauci is facing criticism from conservatives for moving “the goalposts again.”

Even former Trump advisor, Jason Miller, weighed in.

Despite the indication that “seasonal” masks may be permanent, Dr. Fauci also told NBC that most mask restrictions should be lifted soon as vaccination rates increase, saying “we do need to start being more liberal, as we get more people vaccinated.”

No word on when America’s vaccination rates will meet Fauci’s unspoken standard.
