What is more iconic than Walmart sending Pringles with Nintendo Switch orders? 

Nintendo Switch’s latest edition released today and Walmart has been delivering their orders with a Coke and a can of Pringles both baffling and delighting their recipients. 

Other than possibly Coke and Pringles sponsoring this effort, people seem a little confused by the trio often arriving first thing in the morning. And yet, the buzz is undeniable. The fact that it’s a little confusing only worked to the benefit of Walmart’s master plan. Or perhaps it was Nintendo’s plan. Unclear.

Brands need to take a page from Walmart and start sending surprising and slightly baffling treats with their important releases. Here are some suggestions: 

1. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3, box of Fruity Pebbles, curling iron 

2. McDonald’s McRibb, Bud Heavy, gun

3. Taylor Swift’s next album, body glitter, a kitten

4. Congressional budget bill, ream of paper, two spoons to block out the haters

5. iPhone 17, blind fold, iPhone 16 (BECAUSE IT’S HIDEOUS) 

6. Grand Theft Auto: 6, SF Rockstar Energy drink, randomized vintage Nickelback CD

7. Next Air Jordans, Gatorade, subscription to Harvard Business Review

8. The next set of “Epstein Files”, plucky party game, bottle of wine
