In a shocking revelation that further vindicates all of us “conspiracy theorists”, a senior-level CIA officer has come forward with explosive claims about the agency’s attempts to influence the narrative surrounding the origins of COVID-19. According to this whistleblower, the CIA made a clandestine effort to sway the findings of six analysts associated with its ‘Covid Discovery Team,’ coercing them into altering their determination that COVID-19 emanated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The alleged tactic employed by the agency involved offering enticing “financial incentives” to these analysts in a bid to alter their conclusions, pushing for the theory that the virus naturally crossed over from animals to humans.
The House of Representatives is now embarking on a thorough investigation into these disturbing allegations. Both the House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Committee on Intelligence have set a deadline of September 26 for the submission of all relevant documents, including communications involving the Discovery Team and other government entities.
While the CIA continues to assert that it remains “unable to determine” the precise origin of COVID-19, it is noteworthy that the FBI and the Department of Energy have acknowledged the likelihood that the virus did indeed emerge from the Wuhan lab.
The burning question that demands an answer is: Why? It is worth revisiting our earlier report from early 2021, where we highlighted U.S. funding for gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab. It is conceivable that the CIA had a vested interest in downplaying the geopolitical consequences of connecting a U.S.-funded laboratory to the genesis of COVID-19. In this rapidly unfolding saga, the pursuit of truth and accountability remains paramount.
