Social media users couldn’t hide their displeasure after a night of World Health Organisation’s benefit concert.  A line up of A-list celebrities who took part in the deemed,’One World’ benefit concert have since had their share of the spite. It comes after an alleged cover-up of the emergence of the Corona Virus in Wuhan, China.

They included Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, and Lady Gaga, who described WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom as a “superstar.”

A few days prior, President Donald Trump had halted the funding to the World Health Organization for their connection with China.

“Today I’m instructing my administration to stop funding the World Health Organization while the review underway to assess the World Health Organisation’s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the Coronavirus.”

“The WHO attack on travel restrictions put political correctness above life-saving measures. The reality is that the WHO failed to obtain adequately, vet, or share information in a timely and transparent fashion. Fortunately, I was not convinced and suspended travel from China saving untold numbers of lives,”  Trump added.

Many disregarded the celebrities’ act of support towards the WHO. One social media user commented, “WHO LIED! People died!! Let’s not forget this!!! While we’re home given up our freedom and most of us without jobs, these CELEBRITIES ask us to help raise money for the WHO?! Forget it!”

Another one expressed, “Yes, we need useless celebrities preaching us how this isn’t china’s fault and how we should just all live as one nation.”

It’s reprehensible that the stars are shielding an organization like the WHO when they’re a part to blame for the world’s status quo. The superstars don’t mind exposing their ignorance, for they are willing to sport any organization that Trump opposes.
