Former First Lady Michelle Obama has recently made another convenient, media-grabbing confession on her podcast this week.

On “The Light Podcast,” Michelle claimed to have broken down in tears during the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

“After the inauguration – and we know whose inauguration we were at – that day was so emotional for so many different reasons…”

She said she cried for 30 whole minutes straight because that’s how much she and her husband, former President Barack Obama, had been “holding it together” for eight long years.

“When those doors shut, I cried for 30 minutes straight, uncontrollable sobbing, because that’s how much we were holding it together for eight years.”

She continued on, saying that leaving the White House was emotional for her and her family. This is actually understandable, but leave it to Michelle to cut her relatable content to a minimum. She immediately jumped to criticizing the Trump administration.

“There were tears, there was that emotion. But then to sit on that stage and watch the opposite of what we represented on display – there was no diversity, there was no color on that stage, there was no reflection of the broader sense of America,” she said, adding Trump’s inauguration didn’t draw a large crowd – which is absolutely a lie. (Trust me, I was there!)

It seems that Michelle has once again forgotten the reality in favor of a divisive narrative. President Trump’s administration was actually incredibly diverse. It was also extremely competent – especially comparatively, now with Biden’s administration.

It’s absolutely amazing how one of the most privileged women in the world will continue to find a “struggle” to rant about on a podcast that definitely has fewer viewers than Trump had inaugural attendees.
