WOW! The Truth About TikTok Is Shocking

You might think TikTok is just a place for harmless dance videos and teens who wear too much makeup but it seems there’s much, much more to the popular app.

According to a former employee of the company that controls TikTok, members of the CCP can allegedly access the private information of anyone using the application. They can even “switch between Chinese and American data” with “nothing more than the click of a button.”

The effort to rein in this absolute catastrophe in the making is becoming a rare show of bipartisanship in Congress. Senators Richard Blumenthal and Jerry Moran even urged Yellen to force ByteDance to jettison operations for TikTok within the United States. And the RESTRICT Act was just unveiled by Senators Mark Warner and John Thune to grant the Commerce Department authority to review information communications and technology transactions that pose undue risk to American economic and national security.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said he fully supports the measure, calling it a systematic framework for addressing technology-based threats to the security and safety of Americans.

Now here’s what we all really want to know: what is China actually doing with all of this data they’re collecting?
