Which movies were the biggest stinkers? The Razzie Awards are in

Published

on

Today is Oscar Sunday which means the Razzies were held last night to make sure Hollywood knows how ridiculous it is for often pretending films are great when they’re trash. This year Tom Hanks led the Golden Raspberries for honors by winning both Worst Actor for his role in Elvis and Worst Onscreen Couple for his partnership with terrible facial prosthetics and a bad accent in his role in Elvis. He also was the lead role of Disney’s live action Pinocchio which won for Worst Rip-Off. Of course, ironically, Elvis is up for eight Oscars today making it all the more sweet for Tom Hanks to be summarily roasted for the worst role of his career. Other objectively terrible films such as Blonde are being honored at the Oscars today and also received quite a few accolades including Worst Picture at the Razzies.
