BREAKING: Joe Biden Flat-Out Lies About Marriage Equality

Oh, Joe Biden, always the flip-flopper! The President claimed to have had a “change of heart” about gay marriage in high school, but his actions as a Senator and Vice President suggest otherwise.

During a recent interview with Kal Penn, the host of “The Daily Show,” Biden talked about his “epiphany” on same-sex marriage when he was a teenager. Apparently, he witnessed two men kissing in suits, and his father told him that love knows no gender.

But, let’s not forget Biden’s track record as a Senator from Delaware. In 1996, he voted in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act, which defined marriage as between a man and a woman and allowed states to refuse recognition of same-sex marriages performed in other states.

And it wasn’t just a one-time thing. Two years prior, Biden supported a measure that cut federal funding to schools that taught acceptance of homosexuality. He also expressed concern about gays working for the federal government, claiming they were a “security risk.”

But wait, there’s more! In 2006, during an appearance on “Meet the Press,” Biden criticized President George W. Bush’s efforts to pass the Federal Marriage Amendment, which would have banned same-sex marriage across the US. Biden argued that we already had a law, the Defense of Marriage Act, and that “marriage is between a man and a woman, and states must respect that.”

So, Joe, which is it? Do you support gay marriage or not? It seems like your stance changes more often than the weather in Washington, D.C.

Maybe it’s time for the President to stop pandering and start being honest with the American people.
