BREAKING: Why Is The DOJ Reading Trump’s DMs?

Published

on

In a totally unsurprising turn of events, given the recent track record of the corrupt DOJ…

Newly unveiled court documents have revealed that Special Counsel Jack Smith made moves to get his hands on President Donald Trump’s Twitter account back in January. He wanted to, specifically, read his direct messages. (The private ones!)

Twitter – thank you Elon Musk – was NOT for it.

They pulled out all the stops to deny the requested information tied to the “@realDonaldTrump” account. It wasn’t until three days past the court’s given deadline that Twitter finally submitted the requested data. As a result, a federal judge found Twitter in contempt of court and slapped them with a hefty $350,000 penalty. This revelation emerged just this Wednesday, with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia subsequently affirming the lower court’s verdict this July.

Remarkably, the district court initially imposed a nondisclosure order on Twitter, preventing them from discussing the warrant with anyone. Twitter, however, didn’t take this lying down. They contested this order, claiming it infringed upon their First Amendment rights and clashed with the Stored Communications Act. (Ummmm… it did. But a Biden-appointed judge stomped on the First Amendment and stood by the order.)

Interestingly, the latest documents also reveal the government encountered technical glitches while dealing with Twitter’s website during their warrant service attempts. The document reveals, “On January 17, 2023, the government made an attempt to submit the necessary papers through Twitter’s legal request portal, only to discover that the website was down.” However, two days later, on January 19, 2023, the government managed to successfully serve Twitter through the same platform.

What’s quite amusing about this is that the timing here completely undermines the Democrat claim that this investigation is not politically motivated.

But the reality is crystal clear: this is 100%, without a doubt, driven by political intentions.

Jack Smith’s effort to access DJT’s direct messages didn’t even begin until January 2023. He didn’t even START seeking evidence to back up his baseless allegations until months AFTER DJT declared his candidacy.

No word on whether or not anything found in the DMs actually helped in the bogus case against Trump.
