Washington Post Fondly Memorialized Literal Terrorists -But Said This When Robert Trump Died

Over the weekend, it was announced that President Trump’s younger brother, Robert, had passed away.

The president released a heartfelt statement on Twitter, saying “it is with a heavy heart that I share my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

While Robert recetnly made public statements when he filed a lawsuit – along with other Trump siblings – to block the publication of niece Mary Trump’s memoir, he avoided the spotlight for most of his life.

That didn’t stop liberal trash from expressing their disgust for him and the Trump family – even in their memorializing!

They released the following headline:

Quite the insult when you remember that this is the same publication who fondly remembered Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi – murderer of thousands – as an “austere religious scholar.”

Conservatives quickly called out the Washington Post for their insensitive headline.

Former Trump opponent, Ted Cruz, even tweeted his own criticism.

This disgusting rhetoric from an outlet who more kindly remembered literal terrorists is exactly the kind of fake news crap Americans are tired of.

Be better, Washington Post!

Rest in peace, Robert.
