We’ve had our suspicions for months, but it looks like Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, has his sights set on the big league!

According to sources, Ron is almost certain to run for the GOP’s presidential nomination in the next election. And, no surprise, he has already started building his team and figuring out the best time to make his big announcement.

But here’s the thing, DeSantis has more than a few things working against him. For starters, he’s polling way behind the current leader of the GOP, former President Donald Trump.

Like, waaay behind.

That’s a pretty big gap to overcome, but maybe DeSantis is feeling confident.

The fact that DeSantis is already making moves to announce his candidacy clearly says a lot about his ambition.

However, the real question is, will he be able to captivate the hearts and minds of Republican voters and successfully dethrone the current king?

My hunch is NO.

But, only time will tell.

There’s only one thing for sure: the next presidential election just got a little more interesting and probably a little more brutal.
