BREAKING: Top 3 Reasons You Can Still Trust The Mainstream Media

Published

on

The Biden administration just confirmed another “conspiracy theory” that the media had been denying for three whole years. Like, seriously? This is like the hundredth time this year that the media got caught with their pants on fire. It’s got us thinking that MAYBE, just maybe, the media isn’t that trustworthy?? Is there ANY reason to give the mainstream a chance anymore?

We put our heads together to come up with 3 reasons you can still trust the media (even though you really can’t).

  1. They’re always first to report breaking news… and then correct it later.

When a major story breaks, you can count on the media to be there with the first report. Sure, it might not be accurate, well-vetted, or even remotely true, but at least they’re trying, right? If it turns out to be wrong, they’ll just issue a correction later, down way, way at the bottom where no one can tell. No harm done! Unless you happened to be the target of the fake story or whatever.

  1. They have a vested interest in keeping you informed… and outraged.

Let’s face it, the media is in the business of selling clicks, views, and ad space. And what better way to do that than by stoking your emotions and keeping you outraged, emotional, and living in fear CONSTANTLY? Sure, they might bend the truth a little to make a story more sensational (REMEMBER: COVID WILL KILL YOU!) but it’s all in the name of keeping you informed, right? That’s what they keep saying!

  1. They have a team of fact-checkers… who always take the day off.

Don’t worry, the media has a team of dedicated fact-checkers who are committed to ensuring that every story is accurate and unbiased. Except, of course, when they disagree with the facts, prefer another narrative, they’re on vacation, or just hungover or something. Hey, everyone deserves a break, right?
