During a Fox News appearance early Wednesday, Ohio representative Jim Jordan encouraged House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., should release the full transcript of U.S. envoy Kurt Volker’s congressional testimony, to show there was no quid pro quo agreement between President Trump and Ukraine.
Congressman Jordan did not hold back in his request for facts, saying “we’re talking about impeaching the president of the United States — 13 months before an election, based on an anonymous whistleblower with no first-hand knowledge who has a bias against the president, in an investigation being led by Adam Schiff.”
“The president was willing to release the transcript of the call with President Zelensky. Why won’t Adam Schiff release the transcript of the special envoy who testified for nine hours?”
Chairman Schiff has not replied.
