Cities and states across the nation are attempting to force American citizens to make medical decisions against their will by way of the COVID-19 vaccine. San Francisco joined the ranks of the most oppressive cities in the nation by requiring customers to be vaccinated to patronize any given business. The City of San Francisco required businesses – particularly restaurants – to police this mandate and check vaccine ID cards of all their customers.
Only one brave burger chain refused. In-And-Out leaned on the power it wields as one of the most famous fast food entities in the country and openly refused to deny service to any patron regardless of their race, beliefs, gender, or vaccine status. A company spokesperson said:
“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” he said. “We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is a clear government overreach.”
San Francisco won’t have this kind of disregard for their
authoritarian chokehold rules. They shut down the In-And-Out location (the only one in San Francisco) and while In-And-Outs lawyers managed to reopen their drive-through, the dining room remains shuttered.
In-and-Out is reportedly the only restaurant to be closed by the city for refusing the vaccine ID check mandate.
