WOAH! Did The Government HIDE EVIDENCE To Keep J6 Defendants In Prison?

We knew the government sucked, but woah, they suck on a really impressive level.

It looks like big government conveniently forgot to share some key evidence with the defense team of the infamous “QAnon Shaman” who was charged with crimes related to the clearly overblown “riot” at the Capitol.

In an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Jacob Chansley’s former attorney, Albert Watkins, revealed that he didn’t see certain videos of Chansley in the Capitol building until Carlson aired them.

“The government knew,” Watkins exclaimed, “they had a duty to provide me with that video footage so that I could share it with my client.” But apparently, the prosecutors conveniently forgot to turn over potentially exculpatory evidence as required by a 7-2 Supreme Court ruling in Brady v. Maryland. How convenient.

And it’s not just Watkins who was left in the dark. Chansley’s current attorney, Bill Shipley, also hadn’t seen the videos. It’s like the government thinks they’re above the law or something. But thankfully, Tucker Carlson is here to save the day, airing the footage of Chansley peacefully wandering around the Capitol building with nine officers surrounding him.

“This is about our justice system being so compromised,” Watkins said. And he’s not wrong. The Department of Justice was clearly running amok, trying to fit the narrative that Chansley was some violent insurrectionist. But thanks to Carlson’s reporting, we now know the truth.

41 months in prison is a long time to spend behind bars, especially when the government was playing dirty and withholding evidence.

But justice will prevail… we hope.
