BREAKING: Is This Really Bad News For Biden 2024?

Biden announced his official 2024 campaign recently but it didn’t help him in the polls.

The latest polls now indicate that former President Donald Trump has opened up a considerable lead over current President Joe Biden.

According to the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll, conducted between April 28 and May 3 and surveying 1,006 Americans, 49% of voters chose Trump, while only 42% opted for Biden.

This is a significant lead of 7% for Trump, marking an increase from the 3% lead he held in the same poll conducted in January. Additionally, the same poll found that Ron DeSantis leads Biden by 7%, with 48% of voters supporting DeSantis compared to 41% supporting Biden.

The Real Clear Politics average, which combines all the Biden/Trump head-to-head polls, currently has Trump ahead of Biden by 1%. Meanwhile, Biden’s approval rating among Americans has reached an all-time low of 36%, down from 42% in February. The same poll asked Americans about each candidate’s handling of the economy, with 54% stating that Trump did a better job compared to only 36% for Biden.

When asked if they believed Biden had the “mental sharpness” to be president, 63% of those surveyed responded negatively, while only 32% thought he did. The timing of this poll is particularly damaging for Biden, coming just one week after he officially announced his intention to run for re-election in 2024.

It’s clear that Biden’s approval is slipping and that voters are increasingly turning to Trump and other potential Republican candidates for leadership in the next presidential election.
