“No Kings,” Just Chaos: The Violent Hypocrisy of the Left’s Weekend of Rage

This weekend, leftist activists staged a nationwide series of “No Kings” protests, all in the name of opposing authoritarianism. The irony? The whole thing descended into unhinged chaos, violence, and political assassination. So if the goal was to prove how ungovernable and extremist their movement’s become, they nailed it.

The protests were billed as a peaceful pushback against President Trump, his pro-military policies, and that fabulous, unapologetically American 250th Army anniversary parade. But while Trump was honoring the most elite fighting force on Earth with a patriotic show of strength in Washington, leftists across the country were setting fires, literally and figuratively.

In Salt Lake City, it got deadly. Artuor Gamboa, a known ANTIFA radical, stormed a “No Kings” protest wielding an AR-15-style rifle. But before he could fire, one of the event’s own “peacekeepers” pulled a handgun and opened fire, killing an innocent bystander, Arthur Ah Loo. Gamboa survived, and now he’s facing murder charges for inciting the violence. His social media, predictably, reads like a greatest-hits album of left-wing radicalism: ANTIFA propaganda, BLM fist emojis, and anti-police screeds galore.

But that wasn’t even the most horrifying headline.

In Minnesota, things turned straight-up dystopian. Vance Luther Boelter, a Democrat political appointee, dressed like law enforcement and allegedly assassinated Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband in their home. He also tried to murder State Senator John Hoffman and his wife. Investigators found “No Kings” flyers in his vehicle.

Just days before her death, Speaker Hortman sided with Republicans to block free healthcare for illegal immigrants. That’s apparently all it takes to get targeted now.

Meanwhile, Democrat-run cities like Seattle turned their “protests” into predictable riots. ANTIFA-style anarchists surrounded ICE facilities, hurled fireworks and rocks at law enforcement, and basically reenacted the “Summer of Love” with more weapons and less shame.

Contrast that with what President Trump was doing at the same time: honoring our Army, saluting our veterans, and pledging loyalty to America first, not mobs with Molotovs.

Attorney General Pam Bondi responded with the only sane take we’ve heard all weekend: “This horrific violence will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Amen.

And just as the left was making their case for why we need fewer illegals and more law enforcement, Trump took it a step further. In a Truth Social post, he ordered ICE to kickstart what he called the “largest Mass Deportation Program in history.” He called out cities like L.A., Chicago, and New York for harboring millions of illegal immigrants and using them to manipulate elections, expand welfare, and rob jobs from actual citizens.

And honestly? He’s right.
