Trump also took aim at the wasteful spending that’s become business-as-usual in Washington, highlighting the absurd $3.1 billion renovation of the Federal Reserve building — a project he says could have been completed faster, better, and for as little as $50–100 million. Imagine what could have been done with the billions saved.

While he extended a polite nod to D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Trump made it clear: enough is enough.
