Hillary Clinton popped up on everyone’s timeline to mark the five-year anniversary of January 6. You’d think, given how important libs claim this moment is for “democracy,” she would welcome… you know… the democratic process. Debate. Pushback. Conversation.

Instead, she turned the replies off.

Which is honestly the most Hillary Clinton thing imaginable.

If you truly believe what you’re saying, you don’t need to silence people. You let them respond. You let them disagree. You let them expose your argument to sunlight and trust it to survive. That’s how actual democracy works.

But Hillary doesn’t want a dialogue. As always, she wants a monologue.

This is the same woman who still cannot admit she lost in 2016 without blaming Russia, Facebook memes, or a mean FBI director. Now she wants to lecture the country about threats to democracy while literally disabling the one feature on social media that allows voters to talk back.

It’s not leadership. It’s not courage. It’s not even persuasion. It’s narrative control.

And that’s what makes this so ridiculous. You can’t scream about “authoritarianism” while hiding behind a mute button. You can’t pretend to be defending free institutions while refusing to hear from the people you claim to represent.

If your ideas are strong, you don’t need to shut everyone else up. You engage. You argue. You win.

But Hillary’s ideas are weak.
