So apparently, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has reached out to President Trump, asking for a pardon after his conviction.

A source close to his legal team told NBC News on Tuesday that they’ve been in contact with the Trump administration. Trump himself even confirmed to Newsmax on Friday, “they have talked to me about Sean,” though he didn’t commit to any decision.

Let me be crystal clear: this would be a huge mistake for President Trump.

Unless there’s some massive, world-shattering intel Diddy is ready to spill like, the entire depraved playbook of Hollywood’s elite, then why in the world would we pardon this guy?

Let’s not forget: Diddy isn’t some misunderstood celebrity caught up in cancel culture. He’s a man convicted in connection to prostitution charges and has faced a long list of disturbing allegations that never truly saw justice. If anything, he’s already gotten off easy.

The idea that Trump would entertain a pardon here feels not only off-brand, and kind of insulting to the movement that wants to hold predators, especially the rich and powerful ones, accountable. We’ve spent years calling out the left for protecting creeps in their ranks. We can’t start doing the same.

So unless Diddy’s about to leak the Epstein tapes and the coordinates to a secret vault of gold that could pay off all of America’s debt, this deal makes zero sense.
