While Twitter has cracked down on every conservative from GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to the President of the United States for anything they deem offensive (read: anything they disagree with), they’ve maintained that all blocks and bans have been done in the name of keeping Twitter a safe space free of offensive comment.
So it’s a big mystery to the world as to why they would let the phrase “Uncle Tom” trend during Senator Tim Scott’s speech at the Republican National Convention.
Is it that they do not consider an offensive comment made to a Republican actually offensive?
Errol Webber, a Black Republican running for Congress, asks the tough question while pointing out the obvious hypocrisy:
