[WATCH] CNN’s Jake Tapper Officially Loses It, Goes After Republican Veteran
Though Jake Tapper was once considered one of the most fair anchors of fake news, it seems Trump Derangement Syndrome has gotten the best of him.
On Wednesday, Tapper went after Republican Representative Brian Mast of Florida, questioning his patriotism over his opposition to the recent impeachment vote.
Here’s the problem: Congressman Mast is an Army veteran and double amputee.
Tapper knew that, and it didn’t seem to stop him.
He even invoked Mast’s military service in his attacks, saying: “Congressman Brian Mast, a Republican from Florida — who lost his legs, by the way, fighting for democracy abroad, although I don’t know … about his commitment to it here in the United States.”
The video is absolutely disgusting.
It’s clear Tapper’s hate for the president has clouded his judgement.
He’s now facing major backlash as one of the most outspoken anti-Trump personalities on his trash network.
While he’s slamming one GOP veteran as if he’s the only one who stood against the latest attempt to unseat Trump, he fails to realize the movement was unpopular with most Americans. New polls show that 80% of Republicans refuse to vote for anyone who supported impeachment.
That makes a couple things more clear than ever:
- Brian Mast is a patriot who has continuously fought for the voice of Americans.
