WOW! New Study DESTROYS the Myth of “Gender Affirming” Care

It’s time we address a critical and uncomfortable question: Are gender-affirming surgeries for minors based on a myth? Advocates of these surgeries have long argued that such procedures are necessary to prevent suicides among transgender youth, portraying them almost as a panacea. However, recent findings from the University of Texas, which examined over 100,000 patients, starkly contradict this narrative.

The study, detailed in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, presents alarming statistics. Post-surgery, the rate of depression among males rose to 25%, up from 11.5% among those who did not undergo surgery. For females, depression rates increased from 14.6% to 22.9% post-surgery. Anxiety rates similarly increased, with 12.8% of males and 10.5% of females experiencing heightened anxiety after surgery compared to 2.6% and 7.1%, respectively, among those who did not.

The data also links these surgeries to an increase in suicidal thoughts and substance use disorders, adding to the concerns about their efficacy and safety. This builds on previous research from the National Institutes of Health, which connected these surgeries to higher instances of PTSD, suicide attempts, and actual suicides.

Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert highlights a critical oversight, noting that surgeries do not address the underlying psychological challenges: “These findings suggest that surgery alone doesn’t eliminate the complex psychological burdens that stem from societal stigma and personal struggles with identity. In fact, taking a scalpel to treat a psychological disorder can sometimes lead to more issues.”

This raises serious doubts about the narrative that has been pushed so aggressively—could it be that the medical community has either been terribly misled or has itself misled the public about the benefits of these surgeries?

It’s time to call out this agenda for what it is: a dangerous social experiment on our most vulnerable. The notion of gender fluidity and the rush to medically affirm such identities are not rooted in sound science but are being pushed by ideologues who prioritize activism over the well-being of children. And they’re the sick ones.

Enough is enough.
